Meeting women in science: Marie Curie and Ada Lovelace
To mark International Women’s Rights Day, Guillaume LOUP (MCF Univ. Évry, IBISC IRA2 team) and President of the French Virtual Reality Association (AFXR), in collaboration with AFXR and Murielle BOURGEOIS (technician at Univ. Évry, IBISC), appointed Gender and Sexual Violence Officer for the University of Évry, two interactive workshops offering an immersive journey into the scientific universes of Marie Curie and Ada Lovelace, two women scientists, major figures and heroines of science, through workshops equipped with interactive screens and virtual reality headsets.
The event takes place in the Hall of the Maupertuis building at the University of Evry, from 12pm to 2pm, on Friday March 8, 2024.
